When I feel down I like to look at shoes…it’s not that it makes me feel better. It’s just the opposite. It’s a certain type of self- indulgent suffering.  Most of the time I favour pairs that cost more than a car. But at least I can dream and know who designed them and stare in disbelief at the price. Well tonight I was sent well over the edge of self inflicted shoe pain (obviously wearing deadly heels is nothing in comparison. )…That’s right…Tortureville here I come!! Why oh why can’t people put links on their blogs…I saw these dark deadly beauties on the interwebs just now ( I’d link to the site I found them on, but apparently they are not into linkage ;] )…and needless to say I am extremely obsessed and will not sleep well tonight…Although I guess in my dreams;  I can haz ORSM Skull bootz. Sweet dreams xx

PS: If you see these shoes anywhere, please bring them home to Momma!!

my-veins-knew: druggysleep: I would sell my mother for these

I don’t know if this is entirely in theme with my blog or not….wait…it’s my blog and I can post whatever I want…(slap) Ok…this week there has been alot of Starwars awesomeness floating aound the interwebs. Here are my absolute favs.

Over at Cakehead loves Evil I found some rare on and off set photographs. It’s great to see the apparent fun that was had whilst filming. Check them out!

The insane collection of Danny Choo!! I am soo in love with that coffee table….WOW!! Check out his collection in all it’s entirety here

Ok, so I may not be able to afford the rare photos of Leia or Han…the Falcon glass prism coffee table will have to wait….but I can haz these……

Available from Kotobukiya in late 2009/early 2010. Lightsabers merge with Japanese culture and “Chop Sabers” emerge! Suitable for eating sushi or defending the galaxy, the Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader lightsabers measure over 9” long, with the blades cast in translucent material. The smaller “children’s size” Yoda saber measures approximately 8” long. They also come with translucent Star Wars chopstick rests.

AWESOME!! (yes I am screaming!!)

How beautiful are these Alphabet drawers that were blogged over at More ways to Waste Time.

Made me think about my obsession with Antique Letterpress WoodBlock. Even though I have not started collecting these these, I totally obsess over the Ebay listings frequently :)

I have always wanted to show off my many shoes in a cool way….Now I have seen the perfect solution!! Shrine Rack!!

Shrine rack is a wall-mounted fixture for displaying your favorite pair of kicks. Each shrine rack sells for only $29.99US – I guess the trick here for Shoe fiends is to decide…10 Shrine Racks or another pair of shoes!! :)

According to designer Fernando A Robert it was specifically designed for sneakerheads, each brushed steel rack holds one pair of sneakers. The intention of the design is to highlight the very best features of your perfectly preserved shoes.

Fernando lives and works in San Francisco as a freelance product designer. His collaborations with various Bay Area studios helping them to create innovative and unique products in multiple industries. Currently Fernando is designing and developing footwear, while exploring many of his own ideas in the realm of product design.

I have a new crush….it takes the form of a bag.

I am not really ever a huge fan of any kind of flower motifs or prints etc, but this Valentino tote in turquoise is delish…I want…I want!! Valentino peeps, can I have one in red also??

But the price tag….OUCH!!!
